Marty Payne
Founder, Enrolled Agent
Marty is a Vietnam War Veteran and graduated from Elon College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970. He started A.M. Payne & Associates, Inc. in the 1970’s and has worked every job in the company. His specialty is client communications.
Jon Harris
Chief Operating Officer, Enrolled Agent
Jon graduated from Elon College were he was an accounting major and received a Bachelors of Science degree in 1990. He joined the company in 1991.
Susan Hunt
Chief Financial Officer, Enrolled Agent
Susan is the manager of our accounting division with over 35 years of accounting experience. She works directly with our existing clients and new clients to assist them with their accounting and tax needs. Susan joined the company in 1979.
Janet Kemp
Senior Accountant, Enrolled Agent
Janet graduated from High Point University with Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Janet joined the company in 1984.
Tim Reid
Tax Specialist, Enrolled Agent
Tim graduated from UNC-Greensboro with an Accounting degree in 1990. He is our tax expert and enjoys researching tax law. He looks forward to helping our clients resolve any tax related issues they may have. Tim joined the company in 1991.
Julie Dula
Staff Accountant
Julie graduated from Meredith College in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Over the past 19 years she worked in various accounting positions, from Accounting Clerk to Controller. Julie joined the company in 2000.
Phil Fitzgerald
IT Department / Tax Specialist RTRP
Phil was the Service Manager for North State Communications with over 30 years of service. He installs and supports our clients computer and web based accounting packages. Phil joined the company in 2001.
Cheryl Chapman
Staff Bookkeeper
Cheryl joined the company in the fall of 2006. Over the years she has worked in banking and various accounting positions. She has over 20 years of bookkeeping experience.
